## Make confident Order Management decisions, backed by data.

This document gives you a clear, executive‑level comparison between traditional generic ERP systems and the IOM platform, with a focus on cost, risk, and time to value. You’ll gain:

- A realistic view of 5‑year total cost of ownership for ERP initiatives
- Clear insight into time‑to‑value and payback timelines
- A side‑by‑side look at deployment risk and go‑live success
- A framework to evaluate ERP investments without vendor bias
- The ability to quantify lost economic value caused by delays

## Stop risking millions on generic ERP projects.

**Why steel leaders choose IOM over generic ERP order management**

- Lower Financial Risk
- Faster Time to Value
- Proven Deployment Success
- Built for Steel, Not Retrofitted
- Strategic Flexibility

### The IOM Platform: Built for Industrial Reality

Generic ERPs are designed to serve everyone, which means they truly serve no one particularly well. IOM was built specifically for industrial and steel operations, where processes, constraints, and precision matter.

**With IOM, you get:**

- Software designed around your production processes
- Steel‑native logic developed and refined since 2007
- Full transparency and ownership of the source code
- Fast adaptation as your operations evolve
- A true partnership, not a vendor ticket queue

The calculator shows the numbers. **The IOM Platform delivers the reality.**
